Grade 8 chain slings are supplied in single, double, three, and four leg with different end hook options including sling, self-locking, swivel and clevis sling hooks. All lifting chains come with shortening hooks which can also be used to shorten the chains if you want to avoid extending them to their full length. Contact us for more chain length options.

Chain Lifting Slings

Chain slings are cost-effective, useful pieces of equipment that can be used in many different jobs for lifting and moving loads. We supply a huge range of chains for lifting loads at Lifting365, all of which are considered best in their range and great investments for any business.

Our range includes single, double, three, and four leg with different end hook options such as sling, self-locking, swivel and clevis sling hooks. All lifting chains are manufactured in Grade 8 steel, and come with shortening hooks to suit loads that need small chains when lifting. All the lifting chains supplied by Lifting365 are tested for safety and efficacy to incredibly high standards. For instance, they are proof load tested to 2.5 times working load limit and are suitable for use in a temperature range of -40 degrees Celsius up to 200 degrees Celsius without reduction in working load limit; reductions then apply up to 400 degrees Celsius.

We supply a number of single leg chains in various chain sizes and working load limits. The standard chain length is 1 metre; longer chain lengths are available on request. We also offer multi-leg chain slings with a variety of capacities; if you don’t need all chain legs, simply hook the unused ones into the top ring. An advantage of using chain slings is that they require little maintenance to give years of service. Simply store the chains and hooks in a dry place and lightly oil them if you’re not using them for a longer period of time.
