Drum Lifting Clamps
Drum lifting clamps are a great investment for businesses that need to lift or move steel drums safely and quickly around a premises. As these drums often contain hazardous materials, safety is paramount, and all the clamps supplied by Lifting365 are chosen for their superior safety standards. Our range of barrel lifting clamp attachments include a cost-effective and easy to use solution from leading manufacturer Camlok. Empty or sealed drums can be lifted with just one clamp, while open drums can be lifted with two clamps and a two leg chain sling.
We also supply a version from Camlok that can lift and transport steel drums in the vertical position. Our range of drum lifting tongs, available in either 500kg or 1,000kg lifting capacities, allow drums to be lifted from the overhead vertical position slung beneath an overhead crane/hoist hook or a forklift truck with forklift hook required. These are suitable for both 210 litre steel drums or 210 litre plastic Mauser drums. The lifting tongs are simply positioned over the drum before a manual release lever allows for the drum lifting tongs to locate and lock underneath the lip of the drum.
Another option is a drum clamp lifting band, which is useful for drums that are used with liquid bags. It consists of a steel drum girdle and webbing & ratchet strap assembly for the safe lifting of drums. We also offer a fully automatic drum lifter tongs that can be used by the operator from the cab, ideal for businesses that need to lift drums regularly and quickly.
