Due to climate changes, snowy and icy conditions are increasingly common during winter, making these tools essential.

Our multi-purpose grit spreaders come equipped with a three-hole drop design, durable metal flow control rods, and large 250mm pneumatic tires. The round hopper features a mesh grid to break up clumps and ensure an even distribution of rock salt. Each spreader also has a transparent rain cover, enabling optimal performance in damp conditions by keeping the grit and salt dry and easy to disperse. For handheld options, we offer salt spreaders with varying capacities, ranging from 22kg to 59kg. For expedited gritting over expansive areas, hitch-mount salt spreaders are also available.

Our 190-liter towable salt spreader is easily hitched to vehicles using a standard ball hitch or towing pins. It doesn't require any electrical or auxiliary connections, making this mechanically driven gritter straightforward yet effective for all ice-mitigation tasks. Its large storage capacity ensures your premises remain safe and functional, even during adverse weather. The same spreader can also distribute seeds during summer months. Key features include a loading grid and rain cover, a galvanised actuator to prevent salt clogging, and a flow control lever for precise spreading.

Given that salt is corrosive, maintaining your spreader is crucial for its longevity. After each use, thoroughly rinse it with water using a pressure washer and let it dry. Never leave salt in the spreader for extended periods. Before storing it for the season, wash and dry it completely, store it in a dry location, and lubricate all moving components to prevent ceasing.
