The STW260 can be towed by a forklift truck or small traction engine etc. and with pneumatic tyres, the wheel motion activates the spreading. With a lever to adjust spreading width and direction, this salt gritter is simple yet effective for all ice gritting applications. The optional tarpaulin enables the spreader to operate well in damp conditions and keeps the grit and salt dry and free flowing.
